We are Investment casting specialists. If you are machining, die casting, stamping, forging, fabricating, using permanent molds or powder metal consider investment castings. Rapid Prototyping, from Concept to Creation
Real progress is being willing step out of the box! RLM is proud to say that we are now up to date with the latest in the Rapid Prototyping processes. So what exactly does this mean for you, our customers? Well RLM has implemented an 8 step rapid prototyping process which is shown below. RLM can make prototypes out of SLA, ABS, Corn Starch and Zcorp materials eliminating the need for tooling for cases where the component or assembly is in the development stages. Latest technology in automated shell building systems
It is common practice to dry shells in a large open room via conveyor system. Even with temperature and humidity controls in place, it is extremely difficult to regulate such a large area. With an inconsistent environment, the molds tend to dry at different rates and degrees depending upon where they are placed in the room. If the molds are not sufficiently dry when they are poured, surface imperfections may develop or the metal may simply run out at a weak point in the mold.
